HEADLINES

Welcome Back Eddaaay!

Ed Reed is back this week and joins a Baltimore Ravens defense that has eagerly been awaiting his return. This does not bode well for the Buffalo Bills who make the trip down to Baltimore this weekend. Although Reed is excited to get back onto the field he is not exactly sure what to expect. "I haven't moved around how you move around on the football field, as far as plays back-to-back,” said Reed, “so it's going to be interesting to see how my body reacts to all the movement and carrying the weight around."

Husky Headaches
University of Connecticut quarterback Cody Endres has been released from the team and will not be back for the remainder of the season due to a violation of team rules.  Another hit to the Husky offense is the loss of guard Eric Kuraczea who withdrew from school this past week. The Huskies are +1 at Louisville this weekend and it was a very attractive spread until this news. Now there is no telling the impact these losses will have on the Huskies.

Wanted: Quarterbacks of any Caliber
There are some serious quarterback problems around the NFL this weekend. In Oakland, Jason Campbell and Bruce Gradkowski will both be sidelined due to injuries suffered last weekend at San Fransisco in a game they both played like garbage and failed to cover for us. So the always exciting Raiders will turn to STUD Kyle Boller. Also taking snaps this week has been quarterback punter, Shane Lechler. Looks like the Raiders offense will continue to be electrifying. At least having a punter play quarterback wont make them any worse.
In Jacksonville both starter David Garrard and backup Trent Edwards were hurt in Monday nights onslaught of a pass rush by the Tennessee Titans. That leaves the Jags with Patrick Ramsey and newly signed Todd Bouman. You may remember Todd Bouman from his dominating college days @ St. Cloud State in the SEC Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. That makes the Chiefs very happy, and any Jags fans that have tickets to Sundays game very, very sad.

Jumping Lines
Tonights UCLA-Oregon Pac10 Battle has had some serious line movements since it opened at -21.5 Oregon. With most services that number has skyrocketed all the way up to -25 Oregon.
