Ravens @ Falcons -1 8pm
Tonight the 6-2 (4-3-1 ATS) Ravens head to Atlanta to square off against the 6-2 (6-2 ATS) Falcons. Roddy White will play despite being injured last week against the Bucs. He was questionable as late as yesterday but it is confirmed he will be making the start tonight. The Falcons are 17-1 at home when Matt Ryan is under center. The Falcons put that impressive mark up against a Ravens team that boasts an 18-6-2 against the spread record when they are a road underdog of 3 points or less. It will be quite a battle tonight between a potent Falcons offense and a stifling Ravens defense that just welcomed back safety Ed Reed. The Falcons come into the midweek battle boasting the 5th ranked offense in the NFL. Michael Turner has gone for over 100 yards in two of his last three games including 121 yards and two touchies against the Bengals in week 7. The Ravens will counter that with their 13th ranked rush defense holding opposing rushers to less than 85 yards a game. Although the Ravens are holding their opponents to 17.4 points per game they have only gotten to the quarterback for a total of 14 sacks. Defensively the Falcons have had a very surprising secondary tallying 13 interceptions and ranking second in the league in take aways in the air.
THE PICK: ATLANTA -1
