This Uconn @ Rutgers game is a game that has baffled me the last couple years. But the one constant about this game is that like myself, the public always picks the loser of the game heavily. The more I look at this game I really like it. Last year at Uconn, the Huskies were favored by 7.5 and 68% of the public took Uconn. The Scarlet Knights held power back Jordan Todman to 68 yards on 13 carries and forced Zach Frazer to put the ball in the air. Frazer finished the game w/ over 300 yards but threw a career high 3 interceptions. Meanwhile on the other side of the ball Tom Savage had one of his best games under center throwing for three touchdowns and leading the Scarlet Knights to a 28-24 win in Storres. The Scarlet Knights covered the spread by +11. Frazer, Todman and Savage are all back for this years battle. Also included in this years edition is Rutgers 4th ranked defense in the nation. Just like last year Rutgers is the underdog, except this year they are at home. Also like last year, the public is all over the Huskies with 64% of Joe Gambler taking Uconn. The more I look at this game, the more I love the home dogs tonight. I'm not saying they win outright, but the winner of this game wins it by a field goal. THE PICK Rutgers + 5.5
