Week In Review

(4-3-1) THIS WEEK

YTD    (18-8-2)

Well after back to back 4-1 weeks, we didn't experience as much success this week but still finish with a winning record.

We got rapped on Wednesday night by Taylor Martinez and the huskers, that pick was just not good enough for us. The freshman QB was impressive after coming off a terrible weekend against South Dakota State the week prior. But we learned a lot about two teams and that will help us as we move forward in the BIG 12 season.

We swept the Thursday night double-header. We called the Rutgers - Uconn game right down to the field goal. And with a 5 point spread we went with the home dogs and we nailed it. OK State were 24 point favorites and were losing 21-17 @ halftime @ ULL. But they showed the reason we sided with the high flying offense in this one and stormed back to cover by 26 in the 2nd half. W.

We nailed N.C State calling for a blowout victory over Boston College and we got it. Pitt pushed but it was frustrating as they had every chance to cover but didn't because of a missed 27 yard field goal and a fumble in the red-zone on the 18 yard line.

Locker and Washington were a let down in the night cap because we really liked them. You have to hand it to Threet and the Arizona St. offense that finally solved their turnover troubles. Locker got off to a slow start and it was a little too late. Loss is a loss.

Indianapolis didn't impress by any means at home against the Chiefs but they played well enough to cover the touchdown spread. W

And of course the under in the Monday Night Special. Well like we explained before we felt like we made the right call and we were the victims of some tough luck. L

When your worst week in 3 weeks has you still sitting above .500 for the week, you're very happy. We certainly are. Lets Continue with some more wins.
